Find YOUR Favorite Exercise

The best way to support your physical fitness: find movement you enjoy. Physical activity has always been a huge part of my life—movement gives me energy, mental clarity, and sometimes straight-up feels like a party. I’m encouraged to move frequently because I know what types of activity bring me joy. My week is a mix of outdoor walks, outdoor runs, Peloton strength classes, Tasha Franken pilates, and as always, U Beautiful Soul Sweat Series. Here are a few questions to ask yourself that may help you find what works for YOU!

  1. How do I feel during this exercise?

  2. On a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being extremely likely), how likely am I to do this form of exercise again?

  3. Does this type of movement feel rewarding to me? If so, in what ways?

  4. Is my body responding positively to this type of movement? (i.e. Is it giving me energy? Am I feeling pain-free? Am I feeling stronger?)

  5.  Does this exercise encourage a feeling of play, fun, or celebration for me?
